The Wine and Cheese Fest has returned to Seaworks for its second year. With over 60+ exhibitors and entertainment, I was so excited to attend and sample some particularly delicious cheese (and wine, I won’t lie!).
My mother and I walked into what we’d hoped heaven would look like. We didn’t know were to start. We’d purchased our tickets and were off to sample the amazing goods on offer.
My favourite wines from the day would have to be Hanging Rock Wines and Willow Creek Wines. As for cheeses and small goods, I love anything from Frencheese; the bread and melted cheese on-top was to die for.
Cuvee Chocolate had the most delicious dark chocolate. Salami from Salami Shack is delicious; they even had kangaroo salami, which I was not brave enough to try, haha. And as per usual, the olives from Mount Zero were delicious.
Mum and I had an amazing platter of cheese, ham and wine for only $20! And, it came with the best baguette I have ever eaten.
After feeling a little tipsy it was time to chill-out in the sun and enjoy the ambiance of what was an amazing event. We will definitely be back next year.
Thanks for having me Vil.
