You must have been living under a rock if you haven’t spotted the oversized, boyfriend-style jumper trend. I wanted to rock this look when I went to VAMFF, but the postman wasn’t my friend that weekend and my delivery didn’t make it in time. Enter middle finger emoji here.
At first I thought to myself, ‘you look like a dickhead Zee!’. But then I thought, well, the Kardashians & Jenners are doing it, so that makes me soooo fashion, right?
If I’m honest, ever since I got engaged I’ve been a little boring in the jewellery department. I used to have so much fun with ‘junk jewellery’ (as my mother would call it), but there is nothing cute about a bluish-green stain around your fingers, ladies. So I chose to stop buying items that will rust that end up in the bin!
So now I just wear an expensive diamond, haha. Such a simple lady that I am, eh? Jokes aside though, he did really well… But as much as I adore my first diamond, it’s time to rebuild my jewellery box with quality, timeless pieces that are still fun.
If you haven’t noticed the monogramming trend over the last 2 years, you’ve definitely been living under a rock. Think The Daily Edited, Mon Purse; even Peter Alexander and Cotton On are on the personalised wagon! Now you know what I’m talking about, surely you’ve seen it on your Instagram feed.?
Uncle Jack watches follow on with this trend being the first brand in the watch industry to offer monogramming. I really am a sucker for anything personalised, but as I am not going to be a ‘Hassan’ forever, I usually choose ZM (M being my partners name). I love that I can look down and see our initials. I am such a cutie, hey!
I had the pleasure of attending the @nextofficial_au runway with my fabulous girlfriends. Let’s just say a delivery stuff up caused me to just throw anything on (yep a jumper, skirt, glasses, and ‘party shoes’ Voila #sofashion #whatthefuckamiwearing
So it’s that time of the year again where Melbourne’s finest come out to play! Who’s excited for Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival? I sure am! Ever since I was a little volunteer at the festival I just feel in love with the entire event.
After seeing Nadia Bartel in the Mirelle Dress by Misha Collection I just feel in love with the detailing of the dress, the gold tones along with the length and not to mention convenient arm straps. My arms might be thin but they are getting cellulite on them (joys hey) as I have no boobs I just look broad in anything strapless (the off the shoulder trend is truly a blessing for my broad sisters out there).
Derby Day is the start of the four day race days that make The Melbourne Cup Carnival. I unfortunately can’t attend this year as I am moving into our new home, but to all you ladies who are attending and need some outfit inspiration from a amateur fashion blogger, (moi) you have come to the right place.
If you haven’t had a chance to read my post on the Caulfield Cup then visit the page here. I decided to step outside of my comfort zone and organise a shoot with Bianca Lamont, a brilliant Melbourne photographer I met via Pedestrian TV. I have always loved fashion, I have got it wrong and I am sure I will continue to get it wrong and that’s okay but I think I got it right on this occasion. But you be the judge?
I am so excited to share this post with you all. Those who know me well know I am obsessed with attending the races. I have been attending the Caulfield Cup over the last few years. A few years back I volunteered with Starlight Foundation and just fell in love with the racecourse. It’s a lot smaller than Flemington and the vibe is a lot more relaxed and fun.
This year I will be attending Ladbrokes Caulfield Guineas Day and Caulfield Cup, a week apart! Apologies to my feet in advance, ouch!
Ladies as you know I don’t usually post about my #OOTD as I am not a fashion blogger but this outfit was a little too cute not to share.
If you haven’t heard about Little Party Dress it’s basically an online retailer that you are going to fall in love with. What was most appealing about this online store is that it’s for women with a realistic figure! Curves and shape you feel me?
Size range starts at 8 and goes up to 16 with all the latest trends at affordable prices.
I love designer everything. I’m proud to say I’ve worked hard for my designer items in my wardrobe, and they are a result of my own hard graft and not a product of the bank of Mummy and Daddy (unfortunately!).
I’m lucky enough to have been gifted items from Chanel, YSL and Louis Vuitton, but let’s be real for a minute. The rest of my items are from Boohoo, Topshop, Zara, Missguided and good old Kmart. Yerp, I love a bit of #KmartStyling!
No lie, everyone has been obsessed with my $15 jeggings. There’s nothing wrong with pairing high end with low end, girls. Even if you see me carrying a $2k handbag, chances are my pants are under $20. I’m as real as they come.
